6500 STREET STOCK
1. Vehicles will be checked to be street legal vehicle. All must be factory production vehicles and
must contain stock engines and be in the stock location. Registration will be checked.
2. All vehicles must be street legal and licensed. Doors, windshields and windows must be intact.
3. Dual exhaust is allowed. Headers are also allowed but must be closed with a street legal
manufactured muffler when pulling. You may not run with open exhaust.
4. Any single carburetor with cast iron/aluminum intake manifold is allowed. Nitrous oxide, tunnel
rams, pro-rams, blowers, etc. are not permitted. Scatter shields and/or scatter blankets and
shaft drive loops are highly recommended.
5. Stock type springs must be retained. Multiple shocks are allowed. No blocking of rear axle or
solid suspensions allowed; traction bars are allowed.
6. No weight added to the front of any vehicle.
7. Hitch height of 26” must be in stock location, measured at point of drawbar.
8. Vehicle must be street driven, must have factory or factory type replacement parts. No cutting out
of box, doors, or removing gas tank.
9. All trucks must pass inspection.
General Rules
All General Rules apply to all Truck Classes
1. Drivers must be 16 years of age or older. Parents must sign a waiver for drivers
under the age of 18.
2. Numbers will be drawn for order of pulling.
3. Track officials and/or Board of Directors have final decision on disputable
issues.
4. Pulling vehicle must stay within boundaries or will be disqualified. Regardless,
a measurement shall be taken for record purposes.
5. All vehicles weighed with driver. PASSENGERS ARE NOT ALLOWED
At ANYTIME.
6. Each contestant shall carry at least one 2-lb. fire extinguisher in the drivers’
compartment.
7. No speed limit.
8. Anything falling off pulling vehicle before pin is pulled is disqualified.
9. All contestants enter at their own risk.
10. Contestants must pull at position drawn within 3 minutes of sled readiness; any
delay will mean disqualification. If judge is notified before contestant makes
the pull, he may drop a contestant having mechanical problems-3 positions.
this may be done only once per contestant, per class.
11. No consumption of alcoholic beverages on track or in pit area, either before or
during competition. If judges believes any driver to be a potential safety hazard
because of consumption, the driver may be barred from the pull. The vehicle in
question may be driven by a substitute driver.
12. If you are not able to hook due to a major mechanical issue you need to conact a track official. Officials will then determine if a refund is available.
13. Vehicle may not be stripped beyond safe operation conditions. Hood and
Fenders must be attached.
14. Vehicles must be attached to the eliminator via a clevis, unless a 3”X 3” hole.
15. Vehicles must be idled to a stop immediately upon a signal from track judge.
The pull shall be considered over when the forward motion of the sled stops.
16. All pulls must start with a tight chain..NO JERKING!!
17. Judges have the right to stop and disqualify any vehicle or ask for a vehicle to
Be re-weighed at any time. JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL!!!
18. A vehicle can only be entered once per class.
19. No jumping classes, except for different weights in the same class.
20. Minimum of 5 vehicles or class may be cancelled.
